Finally after weeks of not being able to go to Playgroup we got to go back - hurray!!!

Hi all

WE ARE HOME!!!!!, as of yesterday. Immie has been an absolute super star, by day three she had the epidural and catherter out. She then had panadol and neurophen as pain relief.

I meant really imagine us...we would pain relief an epidural plus morphine,plus a strong drink to knock us out. By Sunday she was sitting and walking around. INCREDIBLE!!!!....We really only stayed Tuesday and Wednesday because we had a injection for the MIBG scan

(MIBG is a nuclear scan test that uses injected radioactive material (radioisotope) and a special scanner to locate or confirm the presence of pheochromocytoma and neuroblastoma, which are tumors of specific types of nervous tissue.)

and the MIBG scan on Wednesday ( which Imogen was given double sedation for..but being the little bit different our Imogen, instead of sedation Imogen was very animated, chatting and smiling - not good when yr meant to be holding still for up to 20 minutes in each positions hahahah..that's my girl, then back to the room and half an hour later she was sedated...mmmmm).

Being on 5c the surgical ward made me realize how spoilt we are on 3b and how good it is to know the nurse and doctors that are looking after your child and how considerate they really are...LOVE 3 B and ICU they were great (HEHE..sharon)

We came home on Wednesday afternoon, and chucked up on the way...very normal the iodine, makes them a bit queasy and they need that for the MIBG.

Today we went to Playgroup and Imogen ran around, and up and down the rollercoaster toy they have there and then climbed up the castle and played with the toys and laughed with Bella. It is great to see her being around other kids and more importantly enjoying herself.

After that we came home and she kept on going, playing in the sand pit, building lego creations and then off to the park with Molly and up and down the slide...I was exhausted!!. When Kody came home they were off and running again, Then off to the shops with Granma and Bibby....Imogen did not crash till 8.00 tonight!!!.

We have Kods disco tomorrow he wants to go as a Pirate in the Caribbean, wish me lucky organising that tommorow.

We are all powering along..waiting till we know more after Imogen's tumor pathology comes back then we will know what is next for Imogen's treatment should be soon we hope xx
