NO MORE HOSPITAL

So simply put...
I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!
Imogen last official hospital appt!!!

Email sent 18th of July 2007

I wish for once I knew how to send emails with fireworks and flashing words, but I don't so this will have to do to report the best and most fantastic news ,me and jas, kody and my family have ever received......

IMOGEN'S TREATMENT IS OVER!!!!
Imogen is NED (no evidence of disease)!!!!!
We had been preparing our selves that we would more then likely have to do a stem cell rescue and really did not even believe we would get any results today ( even told Jas don't worry about coming!!).
Dr Baker (one of the oncologists) said we could not ask for better pathology results from the tumor, he said it was amazing. He has now placed as Immediate risk, not high risk as thought when diagnosed, which gives as much better results regarding relapse. We have also done an even more through treatment, so technically and hopefully we are even better covered.
All the GFR, cat scan, MIBG, audio ( not even any affect to her high freq hearing - amazing) came back great, the med team on 3b were very very happy. WE ARE OVER THE MOON, and so very grateful for our strength to battle this disease, and Immies determination to bounce back, we were blessed by the positive thoughts and prayers sent by all. We now continue to chant " Imogen will be cancer free forever".
Our happiness though comes tinged with sadness at the realization of the hundreds of children diagnosed with cancer and neutroblastomas yearly, and the continuing battles these families have, with the cure for cancer still not found.
We have appreciated all the prayers and positive thoughts though now I ask for you to keep Imogen in you thoughts to be cancer free forever, but also pray and send positive thoughts to three other people I have been very close too. One is my friend Cherie and her 7 month old baby boy Blake who has a aggressive tumor cancer, my friend Colleen, and her daughter Kaitlyn who is waiting on test to see what her neutroblastoma is doing and Catherine and her daughter Nicole who is in treatment for leukemia.
Also please do not forget there are hundreds of children a year that are diagnosed with cancer (please find room in your prayers and positive thoughts for them too). The only way to make any break through in this awful disease, is to support with donations to research into cancer. Please realize how lucky you are to not have to ever be placed in this awful position.
Thank you all so much, without your support it would have been alot more harder!!!. We are truly blessed!!! to have such great Family and Friends.
Lots and Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
The Holmes Gang
