Hospital stay!!!

Hi all

Sorry if I have been a little slack with the updates, but on the 22nd of May 2008 at 12 midnight we checked into hospital with temp of 39 degrees. We did not get to sleep till 3 am, as had to wait for Immies port to be numb to be able to be needled. The next day we had the scans to see if the chemo had been working. They went really smoothly, and we finally got the results back the following Tuesday - The chemo is still working woo hoo!!!, these scans were always a concern for us because the body can become immune to the chemo drugs and not work. Anyway because Immie's temp kept going up and down we had to stay in the hospital till Sunday morning. By then we were all busting to get out of there, as we were set to start chemo again the next day. On Monday we returned to the hospital to find out she did not have enough Immune system to begin chemo, not a big surprise seeing she had a cold the week before. This meant another week off, which was very quiet, as Kody too was sick, so I spent the first half of the week keeping them separated (fun times). Then Immie could not go to school as one of the kids got chicken poxs and they all had colds. Imogen was not impressed - two weeks with no kindy!!. Then while this was happening, I had two reports due and my end of semester exams fastly approaching...yes, so we all have been a little busy!!
