It's all in a name

4th of September 2009

I was having a moment today as I pinned flowers onto the huge canopy that surrounds Immie's bed. When I looked up her framed name definition that was given to her when she was born from Jason's Aunty and Nana caught my eye.

Imogen

26th of April 2004

An Image:
~Latin~
A lady devoted to all she meets,
being a model to the community
for how she loves her
family and friends.
She is giving, hard working
and charitable,
She doesn't know
the meaning to the
words no or impossible.

That last sentence describes our Imogen perfectly. Tomorrow the new battle begins,
Fight on Baby girl, we love you xx
Love Mum, Dad and Kody

Hi Fiona
Yes, that will be Immie's mantra "she doesn't know the meaning of the words no or impossible". She will win and kick this awful cancer permanently!
Thinking of you all as you face this new battle.
Much love to you all, and sending white healing light to little Immie.

I have seen that name plaque on her wall so many times and have never really read it.
Our girl has the strength of her name and our love to support her.

When I saw you in the hallway of 3b with a look of Horror on your face.....I sooooo wished it was'nt true. You guys have been my inspiration, as you know my Jarvis has the same cancer as Immie.

I went home and cried my heart out......for you, your family, and for what may lie ahead for us.

We always hope and believe that hope and faith and strength will conquer all......

...all we can do is try and believe it will.

And enjoy breathe and live every living moment we have with our most precious children.

Thinking of you all.

Love Rochelle Brett (jarvis Brett's mum from 3b) xxxx

DEAR FEE AND ALL OF YOUR FAMILY. I AM JOSHY'S GRANNY, PETER'S MUM AND HANNAH'S MUM-IN-LAW. MY NAME IS LEA.I HAVE BEEN DIRECTED TO YOUR SITE BY HAN'S SITE.
I HAVE JUST READ YOUR NEWS AND I AM CRYING WHILE I WRITE THIS.
I DON'T THINK THAT I HAVE MET YOU OR IMMIE,EVEN THOUGH I DID SPEND ALMOST THE WHOLE FIRST YEAR OF JOSHY'S TREATMENT WITH MY FAMILY AT R.MCDON. HOUSE AND P.M.H., BUT I HAVE HEARD VERY MUCH ABOUT YOU ALL FROM JOSHY, ANIKA AND HANNAH.ANIKA DRAWS PICTURES FOR IMMIE WHEN SHE STAYS WITH ME.
I FEEL SO MUCH FOR YOU THAT I CAN NOT BEGIN TO EXPRESS IT. I AM PRAYING FOR YOU TOO AS I WRITE THIS.I AM PRAYING THAT YOU WILL ALL HAVE THE STRENGTH TO GO THROUGH WHATEVER IT IS YOU WILL NEED TO FACE.
I UNDERSTAND VERY WELL JUST HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO KEEP YOURSELVES FOCUSSED, WHEN ALL YOU WANT IS FOR THE CANCER TO GO AWAY.
I HOPE THAT YOUR PREGNANCY PROVES TO BE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM, AND THAT THE BIRTH GOES WELL.
I AM SENDING MANY PRAYERS AND MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU. WHAT A VERY COURAGEOUS LITTLE GIRL IMMIE IS. WHAT A SHINING EXAMPLE , AS WAS JOSHY, TO EVERYONE CONCERNED. VERY MUCH LOVE, LEA.
