Hi all
Some of you will already know this, but for the rest of you.

Immie reached her 3 month milestone on Wednesday for being 3 months out of treatment and surgery.
We had our appt at 10.15am, firstly finger prick, and the strangest thing happen. We got isolated, way back months ago we were diagnosed with that bug that makes Immie resistant to antibiotics given to make her better. She can also (very rarely) pass it on to immune suppressed kids. Well we have never been isolated at the blood centre, even in treatment and rarely down in the clinic since getting the all clear (from cancer). I am sure there must have been a lecture about Immie's bug, just before we rocked up to clinic, because all of a sudden we were locked away again in lil rooms - argh!!.Immie was so good for the finger prick, she sat on the big chair all by herself, and had a quick cry and then watched very intently as the clinic lady got her blood. Then we got the tigger and piglet balloon re blown up and she continue to bash everyone in the head with them - hehehe. Immie then saw the physio, and she was happy with what Julie (our physio, from Immie's younger years) had recommended. Immie did put on a real show- no limping or walking funny, isn't that always the way!!.We also got to see the music therapist, Louise, we were pretty lucky as she does not normally work Wednesday's.Then my buddy, Cherrie ( Blakes mum) came an entertained the isolated Immie, while I helped Rachel (one of the fabulous nurses) with her post grad assignment ( yep she is doing it about us ). Then Anthony Callea and the clown doctors walked passed...such celebs they have at that hospital. Then we got see Dr Felicity and talked about how Immie had been, she was a little concerned about the scraps and bruises from where Immie had been falling over from being wobbly and her funny foot. Immie's counts were also a little down, more then due to her runny nose. We have to wait a least a week for results from the urine, but only get told if there is anything abnormal happening, as you can pick the recurrence of Neutroblastoma up from testing her urine.Immie put on a show about have the check up from the doc, I think she may have been a little stir crazy from being in the one room for just about 2 hours. Though after being told the balloons would disappear, the compliant Immie reappeared - funny that!!. After many good byes (esp. to our favourite people Cherrie and Blake) we left the hospital about 12.30. Home sweet home is then were we went....We are so grateful to be here!! I think I should update about the rest of the gang... Kody has been very good, I think he really need that 2 week holiday break and is doing great with the help he has been getting...even telling me to take a deep breathe when i get stressed out!!. He is busy trying out Basketball on Friday afternoons and making lots of box dioramas.Imogen is busy getting back to what 3 year olds do, cooking, bossing Kody and her dolls around, playing in the sandpit and swimming lessons (a big YAY!!). We also just got our paperwork about Immie's introduction to Kindy day(ok pass me a tissue).Jason's work has gone from crazy busy to steady, which has allowed as to breath again, before the christmas rush!!. Me I am busy (as usual) organising everyone else. Kods and I have had alot of chiro appts due to stuffing our backs in the car accident. We have also helped our friends, David and Karen hold a halloween party which was alot of fun and work!!. As a family we have busy going on camp quality days (sailing on the swan and day on the farm) alot of fun. We are also going to Kal in a coupla weeks for about 5 days to see Aunty Livi, very cool!!. Well we hope all of you are all fabulous, happy and healthy, please check out our blog regularly for updated pics on our family, and so you know just how many days you have till Christmas...hahahah...were has the year gone!!http://www.theholmesgang.blogspot.com/
